Utopia Circle (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or contact us, why we use it, and the rights you have over it.
1. Who we are
Utopia Circle is a private members’ club and concierge based in Ibiza, Spain. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. For any privacy question, write to hello@utopiacircle.vip.
2. What we collect
- Information you send us. When you request an invitation or email one of our addresses, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Member and concierge requests. If you become a member or ask us to arrange travel, a villa, a yacht or an event, we process the details needed to deliver it, such as dates, preferences and guest names.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider automatically records basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) to keep the site secure and working.
- Flight search. Typed airport or city searches are sent to the Jetwist airport service through our site’s proxy. Choosing FLY NOW opens Jetwist with the selected airports, dates, passenger count and trip options. Jetwist handles its own booking process under its privacy policy.
- Local demonstration. The member area currently runs as a demonstration in your browser. Its request forms do not send requests to us. Email links open your own email app; a message only reaches us if you send it.
- Your cookie choice. We store whether you accepted or declined cookies on your own device. We also use session storage for the demonstration login and to remember navigation within the site. See our Cookie Policy.
We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell your data, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
3. Why we use it
- To answer your messages and review invitation requests — based on our legitimate interest in running the club, or on steps you ask us to take before becoming a member.
- To provide membership and concierge services — based on our contract with you.
- To keep the website secure and functioning — based on our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations — based on legal requirements.
4. Who we share it with
Only with those who help us deliver what you asked for: our hosting and email providers, and — when you request a service — the partners who provide it (for example drivers, villa owners, yacht operators or event organisers). They may only use your data for that purpose. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. How long we keep it
We keep messages and invitation requests for up to 24 months, member data for as long as your membership lasts plus the period required by law, and server logs for a short period (usually no more than 30 days), unless needed to investigate a security issue.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@utopiacircle.vip. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or the authority where you live.
8. Age
Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and limit access to those who need it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
